Biography
Gareth was appointed Finance Director for the BBC’s Content division in August 2023. The division covers all BBC content across all genres and platforms with the exception of News, Nations and Regions.
Gareth’s previous role was Head of Finance for BBC Radio, Music, Children’s and Education. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Advisor to the BBC Trust and has held a number of strategy, policy, and audit roles.
He sits on the Finance and General Purposes Committee of the National Film and Television School, as well as the Finance Committee of RAJAR, the organisation in charge of measuring radio audiences in the UK. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales.

Expenses are costs incurred by BBC staff on behalf of the BBC and claimed through the BBC's expenses system.
Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the BBC and booked through the BBC's central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.
