From birthdays to religious festivals, people celebrate lots of different things.
During some celebrations, you might eat special food, give small gifts or put up colourful decorations.
What do you like celebrating with your friends and family?
Join George and Micah in this video to find out what they like celebrating.
George: What do you like celebrating?
Hi, I am George, and this is my family.
This is my Mummy, this is my Daddy, and this is our dog, Kit. We love spending time together, especially at family celebrations.
It’s nearly my Uncle Avi’s birthday. Uncle Avi is my Mummy’s brother, so I'm making him a card. We’ve got the piece of paper, and we need lots of colourful pens.
I can’t wait to see Uncle Avi. I think he likes balloons.
George and Mummy: Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday!
Uncle Avi: Thank you, guys! Come in.
George: Uncle Avi has lots of birthday cards to open and lots of candles to blow out. I love celebrating birthdays.
Micah: Hello, my name is Micah, and this is my sister called Cianna. This is my Mum. This is my Dad, and my cat's called Max.
I love dancing and I like to play football, especially when I score a goal. I celebrate by running around.
We also celebrate Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of light. It happens every year for eight days and eight nights. We light candles every day for eight days.
We put a candle in a special stand called a menorah. This helps us to remember a special story from our faith.
