There are always rumours about how scary teachers are at secondary school. Here are a few friendly teachers who set the record straight and have plenty of tips to make you feel more comfortable and help you settle into your new school.
Tips:
Listen very carefully to what you’ve been told
Follow the instructions you’re given
Enjoy yourself
Your form tutor will be an important person to you and the one who can help with any concerns you may have. If a teacher is setting homework that takes too long, or if you’re struggling with a classmate, or any concern that you don’t want to share with a new friend, it’s easy to go to your form tutor who you’ll see every day.
