Rhyming is a repetition of words that sound the same or have a similar ending sound, like 'cat' and 'mat'. Rhyming is used in stories, songs and poems.
Cal: Bunny's going to love this. Hey Bunny. Wanna play a game?
Bunny: Sure. What is it?
Cal: I’ll say a word and you have to say another word that sounds like it.
Bunny: I’m going to love this. OK. Go!
Cal: Cat.
Bunny: Erm… Car! Cat car. No they don’t sound the same. How about… mat? Cat, mat!
Cal: Brilliant Bunny. How about dog?
Bunny: Rog! Wait. That isn’t even a word. Umm… Frog! Dog frog. I love this!
Cal: I knew you would. This is rhyming Bunny! You can use rhyming to make songs.
Bunny: I love this. OK. Let’s do it.
Cal: Sing along, if you know our song!
Cal: In my garden I saw a bug.
Bunny: The bug has a blue mug!
Cal: Hey look there, is that a fox?
Bunny: That fox is on a box!
Cal: At the farm I saw a pig.
Bunny: That pig is really big.
Cal: My favourite animal is a rat.
Bunny: The rat has a nice hat.
Cal: Did you know I have a pet?
Bunny: That pet can fly a jet.
Cal: This is a very loud goat.
Bunny: That goat is on a boat.
Cal: That is a very round snake.
Bunny: That snake just ate a cake.
Bunny: Ah. I loved that.
