NARRATOR: We use numbers to describe what order things come in like first, second, third and fourth – and of course…. last!
Four people in school uniform come in standing in a line. The first girl sings to the camera. An animation appears on screen of a soda farl.
1ST GIRL: (singing) The first in the queue wants a soda farl, a soda farl, a soda farl. The first in the queue wants a soda farl, at the baker’s shop on the corner.
ALL: (singing) We’re in order, we’re in order – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then the last. We’re in order, we’re in order – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then the last.
The second girl sings to the camera. An animation appears on screen of a Belfast bap.
2ND GIRL: (singing) The second in the queue wants a Belfast Bap, a Belfast Bap, a Belfast Bap. The second in the queue wants a Belfast Bap, at the baker’s shop on the corner.
ALL: (singing) We’re in order, we’re in order – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then the last. We’re in order, we’re in order – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then the last.

ALL: Change it round, change it round, everyone swap their places!
They all swap places, then each of them says which place they are in.
ALL: Now, who’s first?
1ST GIRL: I’m first!
ALL: Who’s second?
2ND GIRL: I’m second!
ALL: Who’s third?
3RD GIRL: I’m third!
ALL: Who’s last?
4TH GIRL: I’m last!
ALL: 1, 2, 3, 4 – first, second, third, fourth. Change it round, change it round, everyone swap their places!
They all swap places again, then each of them says which place they are in.
ALL: Now, who’s first?
1ST GIRL: I’m first!
ALL: Who’s second?
2ND GIRL: I’m second!

4TH GIRL: I’m last!
