A farm is where animals are raised and plants are grown for us to eat.
You can find lots of different animals on a farm, such as cows and chickens.
Join Angharad and her friends to find out more about happens on a farm in this video from The Regenerators.
Skylar: Hello, I'm Skylar.
Cian: And I'm Cian, we are Change Champs.
Skylar: We have come to a farm in Cowbridge Wales to meet Angharad.
Cian: The farm also has a farm shop and kitchen which sells all the things they make.
Angharad: Hi, kids. I'm so glad you came to see us here today. I've got so much to show you.
Skylar: We are used to seeing all the food we buy in supermarkets.
Cian: But today, we want to find out from Angharad about where our food comes from.
Angharad: We get really excited about the journey our food takes, from the fields out here, to the food on our plates.
Skylar: We are going with Angharad to look around the farm and find out more about it.
Angharad: There's lots of land on this farm, where they grow lots of crops. And there's also some buildings where the animals live and there's some houses and an office and a farm shop.
Skylar: What animals do you have?
Angharad: Well, there's lots of different livestock here. So livestock are cows, sheep and pigs, and there's also some chickens and some bees.
Cian: We are excited to find out what food is grown here too.
Skylar and Cian: Wow!
Angharad: Now these are pumpkins and soon they'll be ready to be harvested and they'll be picked and washed and taken to the farm shop. Shall we go and pick up some?
Skylar and Cian: Yes.
Angharad: Can you see one? What colour is it?
Oh here's one.
Skylar: I've got a pumpkin.
Angharad: Thank you.
So, do you know what this is?
Cian: A chicken barn.
Angharad: That's right. And do you know what hens give us?
Cian: Eggs.
Angharad: Exactly, so these eggs are free range, which means the hens have lots of space to move around. We have lots of hens, so thousands of eggs are collected every day. Shall we go and see the eggs being sorted?
We've turned off the belt. So we're going to pick six lovely eggs to go back to the shop. Do you want to choose one?
Cian: Mhhm
Now that we have our pumpkin and eggs, we are gonna drop them back to the farm shop.
Skylar: The farm shop is so exciting. They have got honey from the bees and now they have our eggs and pumpkin to sell too.
Cian: Which will sell all this lovely food to the people who live nearby.
Should we take a bite?
