Let the oven do the work in this easy one-pan wonder. Roasting broccoli gives it a delicious nutty flavour. Delicious served with some chilli sauce on the side.

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Put the sweet potato in a small roasting tray. Drizzle over the oil, season with salt, pepper and the chilli flakes and rub in well. Put the chipolatas on top and roast for 15 minutes.

  2. Add the broccoli to the roasting tray, stir to make sure it gets coated in oil and bake for another 15–20 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through, the sweet potato is tender and the broccoli is slightly charred. Serve.
