Motorcyclist seriously injured after branch fall

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a tree branch fell on her, Sussex Police said.

The force said it was called to Barns Court, Turners Hill Road, in Crawley Down, at 10:50 BST on Friday.

A 27-year-old woman was injured when a branch fell from a tree and hit her and her motorbike, causing her to lose control of the vehicle, it added.

Anyone who saw what happened or has relevant footage has been asked to contact Sussex Police.
