Major road reopens after serious crash

A major road has reopened after a serious crash, police have said.

It happened on the A417 Brockworth bypass at about 15:35 BST on Tuesday and involved a motorcycle, according to National Highways.

The bypass was closed between the M5 exit for junction 11A and A38 Barnwood Roundabout while emergency services attended, Gloucestershire Constabulary said.

The road reopened at about 05:30 on Wednesday, National Highways confirmed.

Officers have called for witnesses and those with dashcam footage to come forward.
