A young, German blogger has an upcoming trip to Sydney, Australia with her best friend Hannah and demonstrates what she is going to pack in preparation.
Explaining that it’s currently Winter in Germany but Summertime in Australia, she packs some a summer dress.
She then explains that she will send a postcard next week upon her arrival. Later on, she explains that she writes a ‘to do’ list for everywhere she goes and first she needs to make sure that she brings her passport.
She then packs a bikini, a map and a party outfit for a night out.
Finally, she explains that she will most definitely post photos and videos on social media of her travels.

This could be used to introduce the topic of travel and holidays and associated vocabulary.
It could be used to introduce students to talking about things that are going to happen by using the future tense in two ways.
They could be asked to identify the use of time phrases in the first instance and then move on to the use of werden + infinitive.
