KS2 Art and Design: The Superpower of Looking

Created in partnership with Art UK, this collection of short films for primary schools shows people looking afresh at well-known works of art and explores how they use the skill of looking in their own lives and careers. The films are designed to inspire pupils to use their own skills of close looking.

The five classroom films below are suitable for use with pupils aged 7-11. The films and accompanying teaching resources support development of visual literacy skills, helping children to thrive in the image-dominated world around them.

Explore the full collection of free teaching resources from Art UK, where you'll also find a short training video for primary teachers, introducing the resources and offering ideas for how to use them in class.
