Super Movers for Every Body is an exciting initiative for 5-11 year old pupils and their teachers.
We've teamed up with the Premier League, ParalympicsGB and others to produce inspiring films and resources that you can use to run inclusive PE and sport sessions, where disabled and non-disabled children can take part together.
On the Super Movers for Every Body website you will find:
How-to films
There are engaging films for different age ranges, for 5 to 7 year olds and 8 to 11 year olds. And they show you how to run sessions in:
- blind football
- boccia
- Para athletics
There is also a film exploring the importance of allyship in sport to inspire pupils to make everyone feel welcome and part of the team.
Songs and dances
Fun follow-along song and dance films designed for daily use in the classroom and at home. We want to support parents, guardians, and carers to encourage children to be active more often and to champion inclusive sport and activity for all.
Inspiring stories
Using the power of sport, we want to reach and develop confident young disabled people and empower allies across primary schools. You’ll meet Paralympians, Premier League players, and other famous faces who share their stories and will hopefully inspire your pupils to have confidence to try out different sports.
Fun activity cards
With the help of Activity Alliance, we have produced easy-to-follow activity cards to enable you to deliver inclusive, challenging, and fun PE sessions at your school. They will show you how to plan and run the activity, what equipment you will need and how activities can be adapted to suit the needs of individuals and groups with advice for specific impairments.
Teacher support
The learning resources are accompanied by teacher notes, top tips, and information to support ongoing inclusive sport teaching, as well as details on how to get into inclusive sport clubs in your local area.
Suitable for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 PE, PSHE and SEND in England, First Level and Second Level PE and Health and Wellbeing in Scotland, Progression Steps 1, 2 and 3 PE and Health and Well-being in Wales, P2-P7 PE and PDMU in Northern Ireland.
