The UK braces for storm Elin
Storm Elin is set bring strong winds and potential travel disruption to parts of the UK late Saturday.
Named by the Irish weather service, Met Éireann, it is the latest storm system to arrive off the Atlantic and the first of the winter.
Widespread gales will develop in parts of Northern Ireland, England and Wales following a spell of heavy rain.
The Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings for wind until 11.45pm, with 40 to 45mph wind gusts quite widely, but at much as 70mph around some Irish Sea coasts of North Wales, north-west England and Northern Ireland.
