Want to make fringes?
You will need:
Paper or card
A pencil
Scissors
A rubber
Let’s go!
Cut straight lines in a row.
Keep fingers away from scissors!
Add texture.
(Here’s a chunkier one)
You can make it stand like this: fold up, fold down, repeat!
You can build with it!
(Here’s a chunky fringe)
Fold into tabs.
Glue the tabs.
Shape it.
Press tabs down.
Tabs (can go) outside or inside.
Zigzag!
Draw straight lines.
Zigzag top to bottom.
Cut!
Don’t tear it.
Try this instead: move the paper as you cut.
Scallop!
Draw straight lines then curves top to bottom.
Move the paper as you cut.
Rub out pencil lines down the way.
